Fanny Zigdon

I am originally from New York. I received a certificate in design from CCBC.
Currently, I own SoBo Design Loft, a designer and retail showroom in Federal Hill.
My Favorite:
Design trend: I like clean lines and a touch of glamour.
Book: Anything on design. In particular, when Kelly Hoppen puts out a book.
If I’m not working, you’ll find me: with my kids.
Most exciting part of working on “Extreme Makeover”: The adrenalin. It’s amazing how much you can get done in so little time.
Best design advice in this economy: Don’t buy anything you don’t actually love and can’t live without.
If I could have dinner with anyone, it would be: Angelina Jolie. It seems as if she balances her kids and career and still finds time to be involved in charity.
What I learned from my mother and father: To be open-minded and accepting. My father is Turkish, my mother is Moroccan, and they are very accepting people.
