Marti Kurland

I am a 1989 graduate of Westminster High School, 1993 graduate of Towson University with a B.A. in accounting, an Owings Mills resident, and full-time domestic engineer and head cheerleader for my husband and two daughters.
My Favorite:
Book: A toss-up between “The Alchemist” by Paulo Coelho and “The Red Tent” by Anita Diamant
Movie: “Meet the Fockers” and “Back to School.” I love a good comedy.
Television show: “60 Minutes” and “20/20.” I’ve had my eye on Barbara Walters’ job for years!
Local restaurant: Mari Luna. I live for their sangria (white or red, I don’t care), sweet plantains and Sunday brunch.
What I do to unwind: Soak in a hot bath and/or snuggle with my husband and girls.
If I had more time I would: Devote time to an organization whose mission is to protect and empower women and children.
What I’m looking forward to this summer: The absence of snow! Honestly, I’m looking forward to relaxing in and around our pool with my family and our many wonderful friends and neighbors.
