Cold Berry Soup


Ingredients

1 pint fresh strawberries or raspberries
1 cup ice water
1/2 cup sour cream
1/2 cup dry red wine
1/2 cup sugar or less, to taste
whole berries for garnish

Directions

Puree berries in blender or processor. Strain to remove seeds. Stir in the water, sour cream, wine and sugar. Taste and adjust seasoning. Refrigerate, covered until cold, and serve in chilled bowls. 4 servings
