Paul Foer, Senior News Reporter


Paul Foer has spent the last seven years as publisher of FoerFront Communications. In that capacity, he penned a weekly political/opinion column for The Capital and had articles published in venues across the country and Israel, including The Jerusalem Post, B’nai B’rith Magazine, Moment, Jewish Telegraphic Agency and JNS.org. Paul served as a marketing specialist for the Annapolis Department of Transportation and as an environmental management fellow for the Chesapeake Research Consortium/Chesapeake Bay Program Office. Paul received his bachelor’s degree from Hampshire College and his master’s in journalism from the University of Maryland. Paul is active in the Anne Arundel Jewish community. His two children attended the Aleph Bet Jewish Day School and became bar mitzvah through the Chabad of Anne Arundel. Paul attends services at the U.S. Naval Academy’s Miller Chapel. Paul enjoys learning about Jewish history. He has been to Jamaica three times to explore the Jewish community there, and he has travelled to Israel twice. As a Merchant Marine officer, Paul’s passion is the water and the role Jews have played in exploration, navigation and maritime pursuits.
