He may be a bit of a doofus, but Adam Sandler knows what he’s doing. The comedic actor was recently honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
Sandler, 44, brought his two young daughters, Sadie and Sunny, to the ceremony in front of the W Hollywood Hotel. He is star number 2,431 on the walk.
Actor Henry Winkler—yes, the Fonz!—spoke to the crowd, noting that the location of Sandler’s star is across the street from his own, branding it “beshert.” Winkler, 65, has appeared in several Sandler vehicles, including “Click,” “Little Nicky,” “You Don’t Mess With The Zohan,” and “The Waterboy.”
Besides films such as “Big Daddy,” “The Wedding Singer” and “50 First Dates,” Sandler is, of course, best known for “The Chanukah Song.”
