Benjamin Presley Keough
Don’t Be Cruel
October 8, 2009
He’s only 17, so he’s gotta lotta livin’ to do, to paraphrase his famous, hip-shakin’ late zaydie.
The New York Daily News recently reported that Benjamin Presley Keough, the 17-year-old grandson of Elvis Presley and son of Lisa Marie Presley, has been offered a $5 million deal from Universal to record up to five albums.
“The music will be nothing like Elvis,” Benjamin promised with a sneer. “Nothing like him at all.”
They say Benjamin bears a strong resemblance to his ol’ granddad (whose maternal great-great-bubbie, Nancy Burdine, was a Jewish gal), and has already started recording his first album. He is the son of musician Danny Keough, Lisa Marie’s first husband, and former stepson of the late Michael Jackson (who was married to LMP from 1994-1996) and actor Nicolas Cage (who was married to Elvis’s little girl for 108 days in 2002).
This kid must be all shook up!
