On a recent “Today” show, reality TV star Bethenny Frankel shared her reality of hell when she had a miscarriage not long ago.
“We were pregnant with a second baby, and at eight weeks, I miscarried,” Frankel revealed, while promoting the third season of her Bravo show, “Bethenny Ever After.” “That was a very emotional experience. It had a lot of different things that came with it.
“Until you become a woman, you don’t know the things that come with being a woman. I’m 41, and, I don’t know, it’s not really my choice. It’s not really my option, and the window’s closing, and it’s something I’m dealing with.”
As far as whether she and husband Jason Hoppy want to keep trying, Frankel said she’s unsure.
“I don’t know what I feel about what my options are,” she said. “I do have an incredible daughter, I feel like she’s perfect, and truthfully, I have thought about other women more than myself. The first thing that I thought about was, `I can’t believe what people must go through if they can’t even have the one.’ Thinking about those women who can’t have their own baby, even the first baby, I mean, I’m really lucky. I have the most beautiful daughter in the world. And I’m grateful for her.”
