Andy Samberg of “Saturday Night Live” seems to use felines a lot in his shticks. For instance, one of his “SNL” skits involved psychedelic “Laser Cats,” and he also featured a “Keyboard Cat” viral video when hosting the recent “MTV Movie Awards.”
But Mr. Samberg, 30, recently confessed to People magazine that he’s not a particularly big pet person. In fact, when asked if he prefers cats or dogs, he responded, “Neither. But if I had to choose, I’d probably go with cats, although they both smell bad, to be honest. When you’re someone like me, who’s blessed in the beak department, odor is very important in your life.”
He went on to say that cats are “kind of stinky. A super-excited dog that’s slobbery and jumping all over you – that’s never been my thing.”
Better stick with fish, Andy.
