Among those paying tribute to Nate Dogg, the rapper who died recently at age 41 of complications from two strokes, was the recording artist and actor Drake.
“It’s easy to love me now,” the 24-year-old Drake (who was born Aubrey Clark Graham to an African-American Memphian dad and a Jewish Canadian mom) tweeted, alluding to a Nate Dogg lyric from “21 Questions” by 50 Cent. “RIP Nate Dogg.”
BTW, Drake, who drew a lot of attention bumping and grinding with Rihanna at last month’s Grammy Awards, will lend his support to Young Money Entertainment labelmate Lil Twist’s upcoming debut album “Don’t Get It Twisted” along with Lil Wayne, Justin Bieber and Sean Kingston. Drake is also currently in negotiations to star in Nicholas Jarecki’s feature film “Arbitrage” with Eva Green and Susan Sarandon.
