Among the stars cast for the Hollywood treatment of the seminal parenting manual “What To Expect When You’re Expecting” is Elizabeth Banks, who last March had a baby boy herself through a surrogate.
Joining Liz in the film, directed by Kirk Jones, are Cameron Diaz, Jen Lopez, Brooklyn Decker and Ed Helms.
According to a Lionsgate, Banks will play the “author of a children’s book about breast feeding and owner of The Breast Choice boutique.” Her character is adamant about her beliefs about motherhood and has her world turned upside when she gets knocked up herself.
Banks tweeted the news on Monday afternoon – “spent the morning standing around in my underwear with a nice group of strangers trying on bellies. Guess why.” (Now there’s an image. Oooh.)
Banks will also star in the upcoming ensemble comedy, “Our Idiot Brother,” as well as the much anticipated “The Hunger Games.”
