Howard Stern and Simon Cowell—weren’t these two blowhards always meant to lock horns?
The world’s favorite shock-jock recently trashed the Brit impresario for saying that he wasn’t good-looking or experienced enough to replace him on “American Idol” for Season 10.
“Is there a person out there who watches the show who doesn’t have an opinion? Everyone’s qualified!” Mr. Stern said. “You go, `Hey, I think that’s very commercial and it would sell.’ Is there a person out there who didn’t watch from season to season and know who was good and who was bad? I mean, can you really, seriously say you’re a good judge and I’m not capable of judging? I mean, this is an Englishman judging who is an American idol, a guy who worked for two record companies and failed, was essentially bankrupted.”
Mr. Stern went on to say, “Quite frankly, I’d probably be really an interesting choice. A) I’m visually interesting to look at. Yeah, a bit of a train wreck but visually interesting. Secondly, I have an interesting opinion.”
First, Howard took on Ellen DeGeneres and now he’s going after Simon. Look out, Kara DioGuardi, you’re next.
