Jason Alexander’s neurotic alter ego on “Seinfeld,” George Louis Costanza, probably would’ve been too angst-ridden to visit the Middle East, but the 52-year-old actor dropped by Israel recently to advocate for peace between the Jewish state and the Palestinian Authority.
Alexander spoke at a parliamentary conference titled “The Knesset And the Nation: A Debate In The Aftermath Of The Shalit Deal,” alluding to recently-released abducted Israeli soldier Gilad Shalit.
Alexander, who was born Jay Scott Greenspan in Newark, N.J., was part of a delegation of more than 30 entrepreneurs and entertainers from the United States visiting Israel with the “One Voice” campaign.
BTW, Alexander will be guest starring on NBC’s show “Harry’s Law.”
