Jonah Hill has launched a production company, JHF (Jonah Hill Films) and inked a first-look deal with the Fox Network that gives it first dibs on any future JHF projects. Jonah’s upcoming animated comedy “Allen Gregory” is the first and there will be more, promises the 27-year-old “Superbad” actor (born Jonah Hill Feldstein).
“Allen Gregory” will premiere next season and follows a precocious 7-year-old through elementary school. Jonah voices the lead character.
Regarding his production company, he said, “I wanted to create JHF so I and all of the talented writers I know could write funny and interesting television shows that we’d love to see, [with] `Allen Gregory’ being the first and hopefully many more to follow. I am a lucky guy to get to do what I do for a living, and hope to help create that opportunity for talented young writers and performers.”
