Loeb In Love
September 3, 2009
Mazel tov! Your favorite quirky, crunchy-granola folk singer, Lisa Loeb, is pregnant.
The Bethesda-born singer and her husband, Roey Hershkovitz, are expecting their first child, Ms. Loeb’s rep confirmed to People.
“They’re excited to welcome their first child this winter,” said her manager, Janet Billig Rich.
Ms. Loeb, 41, and Mr. Hershkovitz, 31, a music production supervisor for “The Tonight Show With Conan O’Brien,” met in ‘06 at a business meeting and got hitched at Manhattan’s trendy Brasserie 8½ restaurant last January.
Besides her spectacles, Ms. Loeb is best known for her 1994 number one single “Stay (I Missed You),” which was featured in “Reality Bites” with Winona Ryder and Ben Stiller. In addition, she heads her own non-profit outfit, the Camp Lisa Foundation, which benefits underprivileged children who want to attend summer camp.
In other reproductive news, actress/chanteuse Idina Menzeland her hunky actor husband, Taye Diggs, recently welcomed a son into the world, Walker Diggs. “Mother, father and son are all doing well,” their reps said in a statement.
