Miss Right, are you out there? Michael Bolton isn’t looking for you right now, but stay tuned.
“I’m single now, and my schedule is probably going to continue in a busy theme for a while longer,” the 58-year-old crooner/songwriter recently told People. “I almost wouldn’t wish me upon [a girlfriend] right now. There’s just not a lot of time.”
Bolton (who was born Michael Bolotin in New Haven, Ct.) and his ex-fiancée, Brit actress Nicollette Sheridan, split up about three years ago. But he’s in no rush these days, especially with his new album – “Gems – The Duets Collection” – coming out next month.
“I’m touring the world and going to South America and then Asia,” he said. “And then I come back and do about six weeks of shows in the States.”
But that doesn’t mean Maudlin Michael will never settle down. “I’m waiting for the right woman to come along,” he said. “I’m open-minded. I’m more than open-minded.”
You hear that, Miss Right? After all, how is he supposed to live without you?
