Will “Hannah Montana” and a 60-year-old Tunisian Jew shake up the fashion world? Wouldn’t surprise us at all.
Teen superstar Miley Cyrus announced on her Twitter page recently that she’s hooking up with fashion legend Max Azria, the genius behind BCBG and Herve Leger, to design an affordable line for Walmart.
Their designs, reportedly with Miley’s flair for rockin’ things up, will include tops, pants, graphic tees, shoes and accessories – all priced for less than 20 bucks!
“I love creating looks that are all about personal expression and individuality,” gushed Ms. Cyrus, 16. “Collaborating with Max Azria has been an amazing experience, and I’m really excited about launching this line with Walmart. There’s even more to come!”
The Cyrus/Azria creations are not expected to hit Walmarts until early August. Billy Ray and his “Achy Breaky” heart must be kvelling like crazy.
