Pretty little Rachel Bilson recently teamed up with the leather accessories giant Coach to raise bucks for The Art of Elysium, a 13-year-old non-profit organization based in L.A. that encourages actors, artists and musicians to dedicate their efforts to helping children fighting serious medical conditions.
The 28-year-old actress (“The O.C.,” “Jumper”) selected a trio of bags from Coach’s Poppy collection, and the Manhattan-based corporation agreed to donate a portion of the proceeds from sales to the charity.
“Rachel looked over the selection of bags and decided which bags she would own herself, as well as the practicality of each bag for an appropriate time of day,” said the actress’s representative, Marcel Pariseau.
Rachel, who reportedly recently split up with longtime fiancé Hayden Christensen, chose a sparkling $398 day-to-night Poppy Sequin Spotlight purse, a cross-body evening Poppy Sequins Disco Bag for $148, and the $328 Poppy Leather Bella tote. The bags are available until July 28.
In the past, Rachel designed a diamond bracelet to help the Diamond Empowerment Fund, a non-profit organization that supports education in Africa.
