No fears or worries about becoming a bubbie for Sharon Osbourne.
“Our family is growing, and I love that,” the 59-year-old “America’s Got Talent” judge and music manager said on “The Talk,” alluding to the baby to be born to her son, Jack, and daughter-in-law, Lisa Stelly. “It’s just a blessing, it’s a joy. They’re going to have a baby in April. Yes!”
Osbourne, who was born Sharon Rachel Levy in London, says she will allow her first grandchild to get away with “everything. … That’s what comes with being a grandmother. You can spoil, you can indulge, and then say, `OK, now let your parents be the ones to teach you right from wrong. I’m not. What do you want? Have it!’”
But meanwhile, she says she’s not going in for being called grandma or bubbie or anything like that.
“The baby’s going to have to call me Shazza or Misses O,” she said. “In London, that’s Sharon, the abbreviation is Shazza. They call you, Shazza—`Hello Shazza!’”
No word yet on what Shazza’s old man for the past 29 years, Ozzy, thinks of becoming a zaydie.
