Spelling Things Out
Searching for a new manse to inhabit? Candy Spelling, widow of the late TV mogul Aaron Spelling and mom of semi-starlet Tori Spelling , has just the place for you –– hers. The widow Spelling recently placed her li’l shack of a home –– “The Spelling Manor” –– on the market. The price tag: an awe-inspiring $150 million.
Chateau Spelling, which is the largest home in Los Angeles County, has 56,000 square feet of space and is on five acres of land.
“This house is the equivalent of a mid-sized hotel,” Candy told. “It’s a lot of work.”
What’s included for all that dough? Gardeners, security personnel, housekeepers, a bowling alley, wine cellar, three gift-wrapping rooms, library, gym, screening room and humidity-controlled silver storage room, a tennis court, fountains, a waterfall, a pool and spa, a reflecting pool and 16 carports.
Not too shabby, to quote the great Adam Sandler .
“I have wonderful memories here,” the Candy Girl said. “But I feel like it’s a new chapter in my life –– and it’s just me in this big house!”
Poor dear.
