I was all right with what you were saying until you threw in this false line: “The Obama administration routinely condemns Hamas terrorism and has chided the Palestinian Authority for dragging its feet on talks.”
I am a former NBC news anchor, so I think I have some credibility when I say I have never ever heard anyone in the Obama Administration condemn Hamas for anything, nor have I heard the Obama Administration criticize the Palestinian Authority or any Muslim faction or country for that matter. In the Middle East, only Israel gets the back of his hand - and repeatedly, and for non-events. For instance, you failed to note that the settlements announced recently were of legal settlements, agreed to in principle by Abbas, in fact. They were in an area where Jewish settlement is allowed and not controversial. Only the pro-Arab pro-Muslim anti-Israel Obama Administration has a problem with it. The timing of the announcement may have been ill-timed, but in principle the Israelis committed no errors.
So the question all Jews should be asking themselves: do we really want to support this guy in 2012? Has he not proven himself to be an anti-Semite and anti-Israel?
When will he do anything about Iran’s threat to blow up Israel? When’s the last time Obama, personally, said anything about that? His failure to act in any meaningful way reveals his complicit support of “The Islamic Republic of Iran” as he puts it (no one else I know calls that country by that name by the way). Wake up Jews! I don’t understand your refusal to understand that an anti-Semite and closet Muslim is in the White House!

Berkley, ADL Push Back on U.S. Criticism of Israel
I disagree with your opinion.I think every government should treat the U.S. gouvernment with mutual respect,no matter who is in the White House.
The State of Israel also has ogligations in the peace process.Good friend never humiliate another good friend.
