The last 3 comments are very sad. Rabbis for Human Rights is a vital organization, and Rabbi Lippmann is courageous to call for a dispassionate look at the Goldstone Report. Jews are obligated to seek peace and pursue justice even when these are complex and difficult things to do. Name calling and character assassination were denounced by the Torah Sages as lashon hora. The previous 3 comments are sickening examples of lashon hora, and even worse, sinat hinam - causeless hatred.

I would send those rabbis and their families to live in Shderot while the rockets were hitting the city, and afterwards ask them if they still want “to appoint an independent commission to investigate allegations made about abuses that might have occurred in the conduct of Operation Cast Lead in Gaza.”
