Deluded Souls
September 18, 2009Last January, 2009, two rallies took place in Baltimore. One involved 25 to 30 deluded souls who gathered in front of the Associated’s offices to pathetically protest Israel’s temerity in defending itself against the vicious war of terror launched against its citizens by Hamas. The other, spearheaded by the Baltimore Zionist District, saw hundreds of people of all ages and backgrounds, each of whom represented family members and friends with similar sentiments, assembling downtown on Light Street to publicly declare their support for Israel, and to encourage others to do the same.
While last week’s “The Year In Review” of the significant events of 5769 oddly cites only the anti-Israel protesters, it is those who stood up for Israel and its people in their time of distress who are truly noteworthy, and deserving of mention.
