Stevenson Growing
October 9, 2009I enjoyed reading your article about Stevenson University. I have been an adjunct faculty member there for the past few years and have enjoyed watching such an amazing transformation. When I taught my first class just five years ago, the Owings Mills campus did not even exist. Now, I am teaching in the beautiful School of Business. I have watched a narrowing of the gender gap, a growing student diversity and I believe the Jewish population is growing as well.
I think that all of this can be attributed to the dedicated and passionate people who work for the University. Even though I teach only part-time, I have gotten to know other faculty members, have a good working relationship with the librarians and support staff and feel at home at Stevenson. All of this is what makes this University successful. I look forward to watching the University continue to grow.
