Baranker—Singer

Marc and Lisa Singer are delighted to announce the engagement of their son, Scott, to Alison Baranker, daughter of Jay and Lisa Baranker of West Caldwell, N.J.

Alison graduated from Syracuse University with a bachelor’s degree in advertising. She works at Luxurious Animals as an interactive producer.

Scott is a graduate of Bentley University and received a bachelor’s degree in accounting and a master’s degree in tax. He works at PricewaterhouseCoopers.

Alison is the granddaughter of the late Evelyn and William Saffer and the late Edith and Harry Baranker.

Scott is the grandson of Hancy and Alvin Singer and the late Barbara and Sheldon Beerman.

A November 2012 wedding is planned.


Borgia—Posner

Arnold and Wendy Posner happily announce the engagement of their son, Grant, to Jacqueline Borgia, daughter of Michael and Colette Borgia.

Jacqueline graduated from the University of Maryland. She received a master’s degree in physician assistant studies from New York Institute of Technology. She works at St. Agnes Hospital as a physician assistant in orthopaedic surgery.

Grant is a graduate of the University of Maryland. He received a juris doctorate from the University of Baltimore School of Law. He works at a law firm in Pikesville.

Jacqueline is the granddaughter of Lucy Landi and the late William Landi, and the late Connie and Joseph Borgia.

Grant is the grandson of Barbara Master and the late Allen Master, and the late Carolyn and Lawrence Posner.

A fall 2012 wedding is planned.


Brownstein—Steinhorn

Steven Brownstein is pleased to announce the engagement of his daughter, Amanda Kate Brownstein, daughter of the late Shelley Brownstein, to Jeremy Brad Steinhorn, son of Neil and Judy Steinhorn.

Amanda graduated from Towson University with a bachelor of science degree in psychology. She received a master’s degree in art therapy and mental health counseling from Lesley University. She is employed at the Kennedy Krieger School as a licensed clinical professional counselor.

Jeremy graduated from Baltimore International Culinary College with an associate degree in hospitality management. He is an executive associate at Chesapeake Corporate Services.

Amanda is the granddaughter of Estelle Kahn and the late Herman Kahn, and Jeanette Brownstein and the late Alex Brownstein.

Jeremy is the grandson of Morton Steinhorn and the late Beverly Steinhorn, and the late Harry and Selma Morrell.

A May 2012 wedding is planned.


Citrenbaum—Levinson

Charlie Citrenbaum and Jennifer Golden are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Katelyn Citrenbaum, to Matt Levinson, son of Ira and Debbie Levinson.

Katelyn graduated from Goucher College with a bachelor of arts degree in elementary education. She received a master’s degree in reading from Towson University. She is currently teaching at the Learning Ladder at Temple Oheb Shalom.

Matt graduated from the University of Delaware with a bachelor’s degree in business administration. He is the general manager and fifth-generation funeral director at Sol Levinson and Bros. Funeral Home.

Katelyn is the granddaughter of Louis Citrenbaum and the late Doro-thy Citrenbaum, and the late Rose and Eli Golden.

Matt is the grandson of Bettye and Burton Levinson and the late Marjorie Levinson and the late Zena and Louis Ginsberg.

An October 2012 wedding is planned.


Danick—Cherry

Michelle graduated from the University of Delaware with a degree in hotel and restaurant management. She is the director of catering at Dave & Buster’s.

Scott graduated from the Robert H. Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland, College Park. He is a property manager at Maryland Financial Investors Inc.

Michelle is the granddaughter of Blanche Danick and the late Mayer Danick and the late Harold and Frances Venick.

Scott is the grandson of the late Matthew and Minnie Cherry and the late Sidney and Hilda Livingston.

Eckstein—Schneider

Lisa graduated from the University of New South Wales with bachelor of arts degrees in law and science. She received a master’s degree in health law from the University of Sydney and is currently pursuing her doctor of juridical science at Georgetown University Law Center.

Jeffrey is a graduate of the University of Maryland with a bachelor of arts degree in English. He is a software developer in Arlington, Va.

Lisa is the granddaughter of the late Ester and Szlamek Lipman and the late Renee and Paul Eckstein.

Jeffrey is the grandson of the late Abram and Henrietta Schneider and the late Minnie Walz and Douglas Hirsch.

A spring 2013 wedding in Sydney is planned.


Weller—Kozlovsky

Adriane and Harry Kozlovsky are thrilled to announce the engagement of their son, David Kozlovsky, of Givat Shmuel, Israel, to Gabri Weller, also of Givat Shmuel, daughter of Marsha and Elliott Weller of Skokie, Ill.

Gabri attends the IDC Hertzliya majoring in marketing, and will graduate in 2014.

David, who made aliyah in August 2010, will graduate from Bar Ilan University this year with a degree in economics and logistics. Upon graduation, he will join the Israeli army. He is an IT product development QA analyst with Houghton Mifflin Harcourt.

David is the grandson of Rose and Leon Kozlovsky and Shirley Stein and the late David Stein.

An August wedding in Israel is planned.
