printYvonne and Mitchell Fishbein of Owings Mills and Dora and Boris Kantor of Brookeville are happy to announce the engagement of their children, Joshua Fishbein and Marina Kantor.
Marina earned a bachelor of science in business administration and a bachelor of arts in Spanish from the University of Minnesota. She is currently enrolled at Mills College in Oakland, Calif., for a master of business and is a regulatory analyst at Pacific Gas and Electric Company in San Francisco, Calif.
Joshua earned a bachelor of science in psychology and a bachelor of fine arts in music composition from Carnegie Mellon University and has a master of music in composition from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music.
Marina is the granddaughter of the late Shmerko and Riva Ganelin, the late Mordukh and Rosa Kantor and the late Ginda Vilenchik.
Joshua is the grandson of Josephine Becker and the late Oscar Becker and Adele Fishbein and the late Leonard Fishbein. He is the great-grandson of Emily Velelli and Eva Steuer.
A January 2010 wedding is planned.
