printMarlene and Norman Weinstock of Pikesville are happy to annnounce the engagement of their son, Alan Scott, to Tara Rachel Marks, daughter of Julie and Brian Marks of Alta Lomo, Calif.
Tara graduated from University of Southern California with bachelor of science degrees in dental hygiene and in biology. She is a dental hygienist in California.
Alan graduated from Towson University with a bachelor of science degree in communications. He is a casting producer for reality TV in Los Angeles, Calif.
Tara is the granddaughter of the late Gayle and Joseph Marks and the late Ruth and Arvo Pyorala.
Alan is the grandson of the late Frances and Milton Botwinik and the late Belle and Stanley Weinstock.
A May 2010 wedding is planned.
