printJay and Miriam Gerstenblith of Pikesville, Md. are happy to announce the engagement of their son, Daniel Jacob Gerstenblith, to Stacey Sarah Whitman, daughter of Stan and Lori Whitman of Philadelphia, Pa.
Stacey graduated from Towson University with a B.S. in psychology and family studies. She has a master’s degree in social services from the Bryn Mawr College Graduate School of Social Work and Social Research. Stacey is a social worker in the Pennsbury School District in Bucks County, Pa.
Daniel earned a B.A. in exercise science from Towson University and currently attends Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine. He plans to begin his surgical residency after graduating in May 2010.
Stacey is the granddaughter of Sylvia and the late Hyman Whitman and Renee and the late Albert Levite.
Daniel is the grandson of Herman and Helen Lewis and Evelyn and the late Theodore Gerstenblith.
A March 2010 wedding is planned.
