printAmy and Jack Wilen of Owings Mills, Md. are happy to announce the engagement of their daughter, Jill Heather Wilen, to Matthew Brian Garfinkle, son of Stephanie and Mo Garfinkle of Potomac and Scottsdale, Ariz.
Jill earned a bachelor of arts in sociology from Barnard College and a master of arts in speech-language pathology from George Washington University, where she is currently pursuing a doctorate in clinical psychology.
Matt earned a bachelor of arts in communications from the University of Pennsylvania and a master’s degree in human resource development from George Washington University. He is a leadership development trainer with Whole Foods Market.
Jill is the granddaughter of Judy and Dick Ehrlich and Ruth Cooper.
Matt is the grandson of Hermine Soffer.
A September 2010 wedding is planned.
