1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2. Cream sugar and margarine until light and fluffy. Add eggs and beat well. Gradually add flour and cake meal. Mix until blended thoroughly. Refrigerate for 20 minutes.
3. Roll into 1-inch balls and roll/coat each ball in ground walnuts. Imprint criss-cross with fork to press down.
4. Place on greased cookie sheet 2 inches apart. Bake for 20 minutes.
Makes about two dozen.
