Harriette’s Apple Cobbler

Ingredients

6 cups cooking apples, peeled and thinly sliced
1 cup chopped walnuts
1/2 cup brown sugar
3/4 cup raisins (golden or traditional)
1 tsp cinnamon
1 cup flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp ginger
1 large egg, beaten
1 cup non-diary creamer
1/2 cup margarine, melted


Directions

1. Combine first 5 ingredients and spread into a greased 11 x 7 dish.
2. Mix flour, baking powder, salt and ginger. Set aside.
3. Combine egg, non-dairy creamer and margarine and add to flour mixture. Pour over apple mixture. Bake at 350-degrees for 1 hour.
