Stir butter and sliced Milky Way bars in a medium saucepan on low heat, until smooth, using a wire whisk, if possible. Remove from heat and sit in sugar and vanilla. Combine the flour, baking powder and salt in a small bowl. Add eggs to warm butter/candy mixture, quickly beating well after each. Stir in the flour mixture, mixing well. Spread into a greased 9-inch square baking dish. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes. Cool and cut into squares. Dust squares with sifted 10x sugar, if desired. Serves nine to 12, depending on size you cut.
