Represents 156 Jewish federations and 400 independent communities across North America. Established through merger of United Jewish Appeal, Council of Jewish Federations and United Israel Appeal. Liaison between federation system and federal government; works with congressional leaders and administration members so that voice of federation system is a force in health and human service policy decisions.
