On April 24, 2013, SOL, 96, of Pompano Beach, Fla., born in Baltimore. Sol is survived by his son Karl and daughter-in-law Tessa. He is also survived by his grandson Peter Kramer (Barbara), granddaughter Laura Cohen (Gregg) and stepgrandson Dan Gold. Also survived by nephews Jay Kramer (Harriet) and Richard Kramer (Debby), great-granddaughters Danielle Cohen, Alexa Cohen and Kat Kramer and special friend Florence Cohen. He was predeceased by his wife Doris of 53 years, and his brother Lou and sister-in-law Bernice. Services and internment took place in Miami.

Homemaker and volunteer, died yesterday of pneumonia at Sinai Hospital. She was 96.
Rita Keyser was born in Baltimore and raised in Washington, where she attended high school and graduated from Strayer Business College.
Before her 1931 marriage to R. Harris Krongard, she worked as a legal secretary for a Washington maritime lawyer.
Mrs. Krongard and her husband lived for many years in Ashburton and on upper Park Heights Avenue.
Mr. Krongard, president of Value Tailoring Co., died in 1983.
During World War II, Mrs. Krongard was a Red Cross volunteer, and she later volunteered at what is now Mercy Medical Center and at Levindale Hebrew Geriatric Center and Hospital.
She was a member of Beth El Congregation and in recent years lived at the Brightwood retirement community in Lutherville.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. today at Sol Levinson & Bros., 8900 Reisterstown Road.
Surviving are two sons, A.B. “Buzzy” Krongard of Lutherville and Howard J. Krongard of Montclair, N.J.; a brother, Hyman Keyser of Wheaton; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. A daughter, Marilyn P. Krongard, died in 1946.
