On March 23, Dr. Judah Goldwasser of Silver Spring at 66 in London, United Kingdom, one week shy of 67. He is survived by his wife Ethel Goldwasser (née Edell); mother Florence Goldwasser (née Migdal); brother Arthur (Barbara) Goldwasser; sister Aziva ‘Zivi’ (Lazer) Biderman (née Goldwasser); children Chava (Joe) Elbaum (née Goldwasser), Elisheva Goldwasser, Yaakov Goldwasser, and Adina (Zach) Neumann (née Goldwasser); and grandchildren Claire, Molly, and Max Elbaum. He was born in New York and grew up in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. He had a full career working for the US Navy in Arlington,
Virginia, with an eight-year stint at DARPA and almost four-and-a-half years at ONR Global in London, United Kingdom. He spent years serving on the board of Woodside Synagogue in Silver Spring, where he was a member for over 35 years. He served as the shul president and treasurer, and was the baal kriah for the synagogue community.
