Award-winning Israeli author Tami Lehman-Wilzig will share her newest picture book, “On the Wings of Eagles.” The book is based on the true story of Operation Magic Carpet, which airlifted Yemenite Jewish families to Israel. July Mitzvah Mutts
The Jewish Library of Baltimore will bring in dogs to help shy and reluctant readers gain confidence in their reading skills. The dogs are calm and nonjudgemental listeners that are perfect for kids age five and older. The event will run from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at JCC Park Heights.
