Mitzvah Month: Young Adult Opportunity! Serve Dinner at Eastside Family Shelter
This time of year is a perfect one to serve the community. Volunteers are needed to help reheat and plate food, set up, socialize with residents, and clean up the meal service afterward. From 4:30 to 7 p.m., you can give back to those who need it most.

Mitzvah Month: Havdalah (and Winter Clothing Drive!) Under the Stars with PJ Library
What’s better than a trip to the Maryland Science Center for a wonderful Jewish event? From 6 to 7:30 p.m., The Network and PJ Library are coming together to mark the end of Shabbat with some wonderful worship and time spent together. There will be a planetarium show, as well as access to the new space exhibit on the second floor! The price covers glow sticks and snacks.

This is the start of a two-month, twice-weekly readiness program for individuals with disabilities, helping them build skills, discover strengths and prepare for a life in the workforce. From 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., attendees will learn about all the above and more.
