Marking Passages is an event that takes mezuzah-inspired stories and compiles them. These stories will also be shared as part of a live event in March! Call the museum ahead of time to book a chance to go to the museum and share your story.

Jewish Joy Drag & Comedy Show
Drag bubbie Merriam Levkowitz and hilarious comedian Liz Glazer are the stars of the show, which runs from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Third Space at Shaarai Tfiloh. There will be laughing, dancing and a delicious meal, too!

Take part in this “day long immersive workshop” from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. You’ll study Jewish text, create art and make new friends. The event is led by Rabbi Adam Lavitt, director of learning at Jewish Studio Project.

Seth Kibel and the Kleztet
From 7 to 9 p.m., join the Moses Montefiore Anshe Emunah Congregation for a performance by woodwind master Seth Kibel. Kibel is Baltimore-based and a specialist in clarinet, saxophone and flute. He will play his trademark blend of jazz, klezmer, swing and world music.

Amplify: The Jewish Media Project – A Creative Workshop for Jewish High School Students
Join Amplify from noon to 2:30 p.m., where students will use writing, photography, video or social media to explore the question of what Judaism means to them. Judges will review submissions, and six winners will be chosen and awarded up to $2,500 in scholarship money.
