This is part of a free eight-week work readiness program for individuals with disabilities. Attendees will build skills and discover their strengths in a safe setting meant to drive confidence and success. It runs from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Brunch & Serve in Honor of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr’s Birthday
Spend MLK Day helping the community! Third Space at Shaarai Tfiloh is hosting an event from 9 a.m. to noon for packing snack bags for local kids. The first two hours of the event are for service, while the last hour is for a brunch for those who attend.

From 1 to 3 p.m., middle schoolers will come together at the Owings Mills JCC to work on meaningful projects for the community while enjoying pizza, music, games and each other’s company. It’s open to all 5th through 8th graders.

Pickle and Pack with Associated Women!
Meet at Bounce Pickleball for an event hosted by The Associated. Open play costs $60, while open play plus a class is $78. The fun runs from 2 to 4:30 p.m., with the event focusing on lots of reps in a high-energy environment. There will be minimal downtime!

Sassy Stories, Strong Women and Serious Fun: Inside the Books of Sara Goodman Confino
Author Sara Goodman Confino will join the Jewish Library of Baltimore and Associated Women for a night focused on her heartfelt novels.
