We welcomed the article “JQ Baltimore Comes Out” by Simone Ellin (Dec. 14) with its expressions of “support, education and inclusiveness.” In response to requests from the community, the Mitchell David Teen Center, the Jewish Community Center and BBYO have come together to create “Open Doors,” a safe and friendly space for LGBTQA teens. Programs are held the second Tuesday evening of each month and feature a variety of activities based on the interest of the participants.
