A Vision of Angels

090613_mishmash_bookOne plot, four viewpoints. A terrorist attack in Jerusalem is planned for Easter Sunday. This is the story of an Israeli war veteran, an American war journalist, a Palestinian farmer and an Arab Christian grocer. Their lives are interwoven by the events. Major Levy gets word of a suicide-bomb plot and orders the closure of the Gaza Strip. Hamas militants smuggle a bomb using the car of an American journalist. But the journalist takes an unexpected detour, and the race is on as to who will recover the bomb first.

As the story is told, it moves through the four viewpoints relatively quickly, giving it a fast-paced, real-time feel. The author remains stoic through his storytelling. He gives a voice to
all sides and does not lean toward one side or the other.

Though fictional, the events feel real, as we experience the conflict between Israel and Palestine on a daily basis. The families whose lives are touched in this story could be our neighbors, our friends and even our relatives.

Never miss a story.
