Allan T. Hirsh III, of Baltimore, passed away on Friday, June 5 at the age of 77. He is survived by his loving children, Jessica (Scott) Normington, Alison Hirsh (Jon Green); adored siblings, Helene (Jeffrey) Waranch, Ellinor Hirsh (Christopher Finch); cherished grandchildren, Lindsay Normington, Charles Normington, Elyse Green, and Theo Green; loving companion, Mary Lou Carlson and former wife, Lisa Hirsh. He was predeceased by his devoted parents, Eleanor (E.B.) and Allan T. Hirsh, Jr. A lifelong Baltimorean, Allan took great pride in his hometown and the community he helped shape throughout his life. A graduate of Baltimore City College, he continued his education at University of Virginia, where he distinguished himself as an All-American lacrosse player. His commitment to service and leadership was evident in the many organizations he supported, including serving as President of the Hebrew Free Burial Association, Past President of Baltimore Hebrew Congregation, and Past President of Suburban Club. Through his dedication, generosity, and vision, he left a lasting impact on countless individuals and institutions throughout the Baltimore community.
