Seymour Alloy of Bowie, Annapolis and recently Ellicott City at 94. He was born on Nov. 23, 1927 in Toledo, Ohio, to Celia and Samuel Alloy. He received his B.A. from Indiana University and his M.A. from The Ohio State University. He helped develop congregations at Nevey Shalom in Bowie and Kol Shalom in Annapolis. He was a long-term member and officer of the Maryland Jewish Men’s clubs and was president of the Seaboard Region of the Federation of Jewish Men’s Clubs. He was trained as a meteorologist in the U.S. Navy. He was preceded in death by wife Betty, married approaching 50 years, and by brother Irving. He is survived by sister Annette Fine of Columbus, Ohio; son Michael of Baltimore; son David of Lake George, N.Y.; and daughter Linda of Brookline, Mass. He was the proud grandfather of Maia Krapcho of Clarksville and of Jonathan Alloy of Westport, Conn. He was the great-grandfather of Rebecca and Samuel of Westport, Conn.
