On January 7, Alvin Michael Blitz of Columbia at 78. He is survived by children Michael (Stephanie) Blitz, Mark Blitz (Petra Wolff), Elisa (Kenneth) Mills and Erin (Joshua) Robbins; siblings Sheila (Tim) Reese and Samuel (Nino) Blitz; grandchildren Sidney (Destiny), Nick (Cecelia Jones), Kyle, Gabriel, Dean, Kelly, Henri, Johann, Karleigh and Lucas; and great-grandchildren Karter and Noah. He was predeceased by his wife, Linda Ann “Lynne” Blitz (née Driscoll); and his parents, Elsie and Louis Blitz.
