Andrew Holden Sober, of Cockeysville passed away on May 7, at the age of 16. He is survived by his devoted parents, Karen and Bryan Sober; his loving sister, Sydney Fay Sober; and his beloved grandparents, Laura and James Reiser and Arlyne and Dr. Julian Sober, and many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins. Andrew was a bright and spirited young man whose heart touched everyone fortunate enough to know him. A sophomore at Dulaney High School, he was an active member of both the soccer and track teams and proudly played for Northern Baltimore United Soccer Club. Andrew dedicated his time and energy to helping others as a wingman with Athletes Serving Athletes and served as an officer in the Chesapeake chapter of BBYO Baltimore Council. He was also a valued member of the staff at Regal Hunt Valley, where his kindness and easy smile made a lasting impression. Andrew will be lovingly remembered for his passion for playing guitar, his fondness for watermelon and bathrobes, and the special bond he shared with Greta, the family dog.
