As a photographer and videographer, David Hercenberg captures memories big and small. Under his production company, Documented Video Productions, LLC, he takes photos and produces videos for weddings, b’nai mitzvahs, corporate clients and more.
He’s also a frequent collaborator with several Baltimore Jewish institutions, having produced videos for Beth Tfiloh Dahan Community School, the former Oheb Shalom Hebrew School and the JCC of Greater Baltimore.
Hercenberg, a Baltimore resident, has been a staple of the area’s event photography scene for over 20 years.
This isn’t Hercenberg’s first time being lauded for his work, either. He won in the same category during the 2020 Best of Jewish Baltimore awards, and he has received many accolades for his wedding photography from the wedding resource and planning website WeddingWire over the years.
He’s also been honored for his film work, including a documentary about the Holocaust he directed as a student at Towson University.
“Thank you to everyone who took the time to vote and support my work,” Hercenberg said in an interview with the Baltimore Jewish Times. “Your trust and encouragement mean the world to me, and it’s a true privilege to be part of capturing your stories, moments and milestones. This recognition inspires me to keep creating with heart, passion and purpose. [I’m] grateful to be in such great company and community.”
