On July 10, Beverly K. Cohen (née Kadish) of Pikesville at 99. She is survived by son Merton (Diane) Cohen; son-in-law Howard Gampel; grandchildren Margo Duncan, Allan (Christine) Cohen, Beth (Adam) Abell and Mitchell Gampel; great-grandchildren Michael Schwartz, Rachel Schwartz, Jacob Duncan, Marcy Cohen, Leah Cohen, Oliver Abell, Jett Abell, Mila Abell, Kisa Ulloa, Xena Gampel and Johan Gampel; and sister-in-law Ingrid Greenbaum. She was predeceased by husband Bernard B. Cohen; daughter Joanne Gampel; brother Pierce Kadish; sister-in-law Sonia Friedman; and parents Michael and Ida Kadish. She was a beautiful person, inside and out. She was an elegant speaker, a great storyteller and a revered person. People very often “adopted” her as their own “Bubbie” because of her wit and wisdom. As her deceased husband used to say “If Bubbie doesn’t know it, then it’s not worth knowing.”
