On Aug. 7, Dr. Sanford E. Blas of Baltimore at 79. He is survived by children Howard (Ronit) Blas, Staci Blas and Marcey (Victor) Mosca; long-term partner Wendy Brager; sister Shelley (the late Ben) Baernstein; grandchildren Daniel (Ilana) Blas, Abigail (Yaacov) Amar Rothstein, Elisheva Blas, Hannah Blas and Brooke Mosca; and great-grandchildren Lila Blas and Negev and Techelet Amar Rothstein. He was predeceased by wife Fruma Blas (née Shulman) and parents Edythe and Arthur Blas.
