Marisa Scheinfeld, author of photography book “The Borscht Belt: Revisiting the Remains of America’s Jewish Vacationland,” spoke at the Jewish Museum of Maryland on June 25 about her book, which depicts the Borscht Belt, the area of the Catskills that used to be home to a number of Jewish resorts, and her childhood growing up there.
