The National Merit Scholarship Corporation announced on Sept. 12 that three Beth Tfiloh Dahan Community High School seniors, Jonathan Arking, Jaime Benhamou and Natan Gamliel, were among the 16,000 high school seniors nationwide named as semifinalists in the 64th annual National Merit Scholarship Program. The students, who earned the honor with their 2017 PSAT scores, will have the opportunity to compete for some 7,500 National Merit Scholarships worth more than $31 million next spring.
