Burton Gold, of Pikesville, Maryland, passed away on Friday, May 16, at the age of 90.

He is survived by his devoted wife of 67 years, Myra Gold (nee Abramowitz); loving children, Laury (Lewis) Scharff and Richard (Stephanie) Gold; beloved grandchildren, Alexandra (Alex) Smith, Adam (Kayleigh) Scharff, Michael Gold (Lizzy Stodolski) and Jimmy (Brianna) Scharff; cherished great-grandchildren, Lainey Scharff, Eloise Scharff, Teagan Scharff, Saskia Smith and Walker Scharff; and his caring sisters-in-law and brother-in-law, Ruth (Louis) Glick and Ronnie Gold.

He was predeceased by his caring brother, Barry Gold and his dear parents, Abraham and Alice Gold. Burt’s greatest joy in life was his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who brought him endless pride and happiness.

A respected and accomplished businessman in the wholesale plumbing supply industry, Burt was known for his integrity, work ethic, and success.

He had a passion for fine dining and took great pride in his ability to secure a reservation at any restaurant, no matter the time or place. He had a magnetic personality (often the life of the party) and his laughter and warmth lit up every room. Above all, Burt deeply loved his wife, Myra, cherishing her as the heart of his world.
